On election day, your party failed to remove a billboard advertising your party from Glendowie Park, opposite Roberta Avenue, Glendowie Auckland. This is an offence under the Electoral Act. The billboard remains in place. You are hereby advised that if you do not remove the billboard from this park within 7 days. I will make a formal, written complaint to the Electoral Commission. You cannot argue the billboard was removed on election day if it is still there. Please advise by return email that you have removed the billboard otherwise I will make a formal complaint.

KIWI FAIR GO DEBATE Election 2017

In a real democracy, everyone gets a voice.

We are pleased to invite you to the “Kiwi Fair Go Debate” – the first major broadcast political debate open to every registered political party standing in the 2017 New Zealand general election.

Television media in New Zealand have claimed that it is impossible to host 16 parties simultaneously. We are using web conference technology to prove that in fact, it is rather simple!

The event is being sponsored by The Daily Blog and organised by a committee of volunteers dedicated to providing New Zealanders with equal access to the messages of all parties equally. The event will be streamed online, simulcast on You Tube, Facebook and at The Daily Blog.

The event will be held on Monday 18 September from 8pm – 10.00pm. Find out more at our website: https://kiwidebate.online

The event will be live-tweeted on the account @KiwiDebate. The event hashtag will be #KiwiFairGo

    Criteria for invitation:

    - All registered political parties in New Zealand are invited to participate

    Conditions for participation:

    - All participants must abide by the Debate Rules(below)

    - There is no cost to register for or participate in the debate

    - Registration for participation closes on Sunday 17th September at 5pm NZST

    - Each participating party will have their logo added to “participating organisations” at the bottom of event promotional materials”. All logos will be of equal size and prominence.

    - Each participant must join the Zoom online webinar (requires internet connection, webcam and microphone) by 7.30pm on Monday to test sound. Links to the webinar will be sent via email including the time you will be interviewed. Candidates log in at 7.30pm to test sound and connection and are due on 5mins before their interview.

    Rules of the debate:

    - All participants will be asked the same, neutrally phrased questions

    - All participants will be given the same amount of time for opening and closing statements, and answers to questions.

    - You will have 60 seconds to start with answering the question, ‘why is this election important’. Then there will be 5 and a half minutes being interviewed and finally 30 seconds to make your case as to why voters should vote for your Party.

    - All discourse must be respectful and professional

Please RSVP ASAP: kfgld@protonmail.com – Registration closes Sunday 17th September at 5pm
